Harrogate Observatory Tower

Harrogate Observatory Tower

We are a friendly group which meets on the last Thursday of every month at Harlow Community Centre, The Green Hut, Harlow Avenue, Harrogate at 7.30pm.

We have the use ot the 19th century Harlow observatory tower and welcome new members and those with an interest in and enthusiasm for all forms of astronomy.

The club enjoys close links with other astronomical societies in the area, Bradford and York are our nearest astronomical neighbours (who said it was the moon), with Leeds, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire (Pontefract), Cleveland-and-Darlington, Scarborough clubs less that a light millisecond away.

HAS is affiliated to the Federation of Astronomical Societies.
